Visiting this website
Delivering a website requires technical information such as your IP address, requested page, browser information and request time. Our hosting service may process this information to deliver pages, maintain availability and prevent abuse. Our basis for necessary website operations is our legitimate interest in providing a secure and reliable website.
This website is hosted using OpenAI Sites. The hosting provider and its infrastructure providers may process technical information under their own applicable terms and privacy notices. See OpenAI’s privacy policy for information about its processing, retention and international operations.
Contacting us
If you email us, we receive your email address, the information in your message and any attachments. We use this to respond and manage correspondence. Our basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract where applicable. Providing information is voluntary, but we need suitable contact details to reply.
Our enquiry form collects your name, email address, optional company name and message. When you submit it, these details pass through our n8n automation service and are sent to our designated enquiry inbox using Gmail. These services process the details to deliver and respond to your enquiry. No automatic marketing subscription is created. Submission details may also be retained in workflow execution records for troubleshooting and in email correspondence. The same purposes, lawful bases and retention criteria described in this notice apply. Please do not include sensitive personal information in enquiries.
Cookies and tracking
We have not added advertising pixels, analytics tools or tracking cookies to the website. Its interactive effects run in your browser and do not send your pointer movements to us. Hosting-level security or operational processing may still occur. External websites linked from this site have their own privacy practices.
Sharing and international processing
Information may be handled by providers necessary for hosting, email delivery and IT support, and by professional advisers or authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal information or use it for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Providers may process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where we arrange a restricted transfer, applicable data protection law requires an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as adequacy regulations or contractual safeguards. Contact us for details about the arrangements relevant to your information.
How long information is kept
We keep correspondence only for as long as needed to answer the enquiry, manage any resulting relationship and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention depends on the enquiry’s status, whether a dispute is reasonably anticipated and any statutory record-keeping requirements. We then delete or anonymise information no longer needed. Hosting providers determine retention of their operational records under their applicable policies; we do not specify a separate retention period for those records.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Send requests to contact@mergic.io. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or your local supervisory authority where applicable, including in the EU/EEA.
Updates
We will revise this notice when our website or processing changes and show the updated date here.
